Wow! It’s christmas. It will be an atypical Christmas, because of this issue of quarantine.

But one of the things we’ve learned in this forced soose is the importance of keeping ourselves constantly growing and improving.

We are doing a training that has us excited and today we want to share with you what we are doing and that we believe will be of great benefit to those who love to travel.

We are still in the early stages, but what follows is what we have learned so far.

Offer your talents and travel

This training teaches you how to use your talents to get, on an exchange basis, products and services that help us in our main passion: travel.

Whether it is to get accommodation in exchange for work or to acquire products that serve us in our goal, offering your talents will be the star strategy to achieve and maintain a traveling lifestyle.

Basically, the training is aimed at two specific types of people:

  1. Entrepreneurs who already have a business or company going or are about to launch one.
  2. Artists, whose talents and skills are increasingly in demand in this world.

For entrepreneurs

This training is relevant for those who have – or are planning to launch – a digital company. It gives you ideas of how traveling allows you to know the skills that are most in demand and, therefore, allows you to develop new products based on those needs.

For example, travel blogs, photographers, and graphic and web designers are professions in high demand in the tourism industry and related areas.

If you are a blogger, photographer or web designer you can do work in your area in exchange for lodging, food and other tourist services.

Also as an entertainment manager in hotels or if you have knowledge of bar tender or knowledge in languages, you can do temporary work in hotels and hostels in exchange for bed & food.

For artists

You can also offer your artistic skills to help fund your trip.

One example is models. As you know, we are models and have worked in the industry for several years.

In this case, the company for which you do the work will usually pay you with the product you will be advertising.

We are also bellydance dancers and that is something in good demand in hotels and entertainment sites. In this case the normal thing is that there is monetary compensation, but if there is not you can get, the lodging and even the food in exchange for a service such as, for example, a travel blog where we talk about a hotel or other accommodation.

Three tools

In this training that we are doing, there are three basic tools that we must have to launch into this adventure:

  • Media kit: artistic curriculum of skills. According to Hotmart,it is a commercial document or tool that a person, brand or organization uses to demonstrate its full potential to potential sponsors or advertisers who are interested.
  • Travel Blog: From here you can deploy the full potential of your brand: marketing strategies and launch the content that your followers (and your potential employers or business partners) want to see.
  • Social Media Account: with a minimum of followers. Predominantly visual social networks such as Instagram, Youtube and Pinterest are ideal for the travel and tourism industry.

And what’s next?

We are at the beginning of our project. So we estimate in the medium term to put into practice what we learn from this training.

There are many things we need to adjust and a lot of planning ahead.

We will be releasing articles commenting on our progress, difficulties and achievements with respect to this new project.

We leave you below part of our “Media Kit” that we are making for our project.

Enjoy it and wish you all a Happy and Safe Christmas.
