We continue with the second part of the previous article on 33 Habits to Improve your finances:
  • Carrying out what we call the “Diva Attitude”: look people in the eye, exude confidence, visit expensive stores and try on clothes (even if you are not planning to buy them ), have a coffee in a fancy restaurant, etc. We, for example, usually go to the embassy area of Montreal to walk around and make small purchases. You are sending the message to your subconscious that this world of prosperity is yours, that it is there where you belong and where you feel comfortable. That changes your energy to attract prosperity.

  • Read books of inspiring characters related to the world of money and finance: Warren Buffet, Robert Kiyosaki, Napoleon Hill, etc. Many of these people made their fortunes from scratch and by recounting their successes and failures to reach the top, they give us a powerful incentive, because they tell you: “If I can, you can also too.”
  • Never complain. There is nothing “better” to keep you down than constantly complaining. Complaining is one of the most useless and pernicious activities of the human being. It is not even useful for catharsis. It only serves to create a black cloud over you that keeps luck and people away from you.

  • Play the Cashflow game. This game was developed by the renowned author, investor and entrepreneur Robert Kiyosaki. It simulates real economic situations and decision-making regarding money, giving you, while having fun, financial education.

  • From time to time, treat yourself the best. Go to a spa, to a nice restaurant. You have to feel that life is to enjoy it and be happy.

  • Surround yourself with like-minded people. People with scarcity awareness and complainers are “energy vampires” who unintentionally suck the energy out of those around them. Avoid them like the coronavirus.
  • Dedicate fixed percentages to your expenses. Of your earned money try, in general, to allocate 50% – 60% to fixed expenses, 10% to your education, 5% fun and 10% to yourself. It would be great if you allocate at least 5% to donations or helping others.

  • Use our budget planner. We developed a budget planner in Excel with chart to visualize the net income per year. You only put the data and the planner makes the chart for you. It’s already able to download it for free.

  • Another thing, always pay the debts, especially credit cards. Interest is up to 20%. It’s important to take care of those cats on credit cards, because debt can grow without you realizing it.

  • Progressively decrease the time you spend consuming streaming platforms. Don’t watch so much Netflix. It deprives you of your energy and it’s incredible how much time is wasted on it. When you watch TV, you turn your mind off (unless you’re watching a good movie or documentary) and go on autopilot. No one has ever gotten rich on autopilot. Also, time is the most valuable asset you have. Invest it wisely.

  • Eat only until satisfied. Don’t do it out of gluttony. Frugality is a characteristic of people who have become rich by their own efforts.

  • Have a balance diet. You cannot enjoy your wealth or carry out projects that will make you prosperous if you suffer from serious health problems. You are what you eat. Do not consume processed products. They are more expensive and almost all of them are harmful in one way or another to you or the planet.

  • At night or in the morning, Spend about 5 minutes listening to a mantra or a relaxation music. This detaches you from the flow of thoughts in the brain. And you will be surprised by the great ideas that can come to you while you meditate.

  • Be punctual in payments. It helps energetically and avoids the late interest. And appreciate the fact that you can pay on time. If you pay on time, you get paid on time. It is a law of the universe.
  • Make a budget before going out to buy something. Take the time to calculate how much you want to spend. Never go over what you have budgeted for.

  • Buy devices with the features you know how to use and will need. Don’t overpay for things you won’t use. Do not look to have the latest or trendiest. The manufacturer wants you to buy their latest product as quickly as possible for a good reason. Early buyers pay for product development. It is better to wait a few months to purchase the product, when its price drops. After a few months, you will see that it is very possible that you no longer want it.

  • When you buy something, make sure that it does not include any “plus” or “combo” that you have not ordered and that increases its price. Sometimes, they want to sell you something you don’t need. For example, I never buy a fall insurance policy for cell phones. This is how I got used to taking more care of my device.
  • Finally, we leave you some sentences:
And with this we conclude with the habits that we have put into practice and that we are convinced are responsible for the fact that we have never lacked money and that they have allowed us to do a number of wonderful things that years ago we did not think possible.

Give them a chance and use this in your life and you will surely see how your life in general and your finances in particular will improve in a way that can often seem “magical”.
